Anton Hisgen

Anton Nikolaus Johann Baptist Hisgen (born January 17, 1809 in Dhronecken , † November 8, 1864 in Koblenz ) was a Prussian district administrator in the Wittlich district .

Anton Hisgen was the son of the Prussian state procurator Johann Hisgen and his wife Margaretha, nee Linden.

Life

After graduating from the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Gymnasium in Trier in 1828, he completed a study of cameralistics in Bonn and Heidelberg . In 1832 he first became an auscultator at the Trier district court, then in the same year he became a government trainee with the Trier government , who was followed there in 1836 as a government assessor. On January 1, 1837, he was appointed provisional district administrator of the Wittlich district, he took office on June 5, 1837 and the definitive appointment on June 29, 1840. After 12 years of service as a trustworthy and popular district administrator and his appointment to the government , he moved to the Cologne government in 1849 and in the same position in the Koblenz government in 1861 , where he died while on duty.

Hisgen was since April 29, 1848 with Anna Maria Simons (1826-1849), daughter of Cologne District Administrator Hermann Joseph Simons (1799-1867) and his wife Cristine, née Olbertz.
