Haßmoning is a district of Traunreut and used to be an independent municipality in the Traunstein district . The village is located at a junction of the B 304 between St. Georgen and Truchtlaching . The parish of the former parish is St. Georgen .

history

The settlement is likely to have originated in the 8th century. The community of Haßmoning had developed from the tax district of Pattenham since 1818. On May 1, 1926, Haßmoning was incorporated into the Stein an der Traun community ; On May 1, 1978, the municipality was incorporated into Traunreut.

Architectural monuments

The chapel in the center of the village is a listed building (file number D-1-89-154-11). The description of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation reads:

“Chapel, built in 1826; with equipment; in the center of the village. "
