Matzing volunteer fire department
  • Matzing volunteer fire brigade : In 2002 a new fire station was built in Matzing , which also houses the local rifle club . A special feature is that, for the first time, a municipality has made the financial means for the construction of a fire station available to a fire brigade association and the house can thus be built as a private building, which means that work that is subject to tendering can be avoided. The Matzing volunteer fire brigade is likely to be the only fire brigade in Germany that owns its fire station itself. The fire station houses a fire fighting vehicle 10/6 .
