Spring is a district of the town of Traunreut in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein . The village with a chapel is located on an elevation, the Spring Mountain, in the middle of an extensive forest area and has 67 inhabitants.

history

The place is 1208 Froulingen mentioned and was at the time of the Duchy of Bavaria part of the main team Pierling . As part of the community education in Bavaria, it came with the municipality edict of 1818 for rural community Pierling. This community was incorporated into the city of Traunreut on January 1, 1978 as part of the municipal reform.

Architectural monuments

A private chapel and a former small farmhouse are under monument protection (file numbers D-1-89-154-7 and -8). The description of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation reads:

“Private chapel, niche chapel, marked 1815 on the lattice; with equipment; at house number 7.

Log upper floor of a former small farmhouse, marked 1709; In 1994 transferred to the newly bricked ground floor. "
