Anton Neubauer

Anton Johann Neubauer (born July 12, 1842 in Liebenau , Marienwerder district , † January 14, 1915 in Pelplin ) was a German-Polish Catholic clergyman and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Neubauer attended grammar school in Kulm and studied in the episcopal clerical seminar in Pelplin and at the academy in Münster . He received his doctorate there in January 1867 as a licentiate in theology and was ordained a priest on April 14, 1867. Until October 1869 he was active in pastoral care and then until October 1887 Professor, Spiritual and Subregens at the episcopal clerical seminar of the Diocese of Kulm in Pelplin. From 1872 he was prosynodal examiner and from 1882 cathedral chapter .

From 1886 to 1903 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Danzig 5 administrative district ( Berent , Preußisch Stargard , Dirschau ) and the Polish parliamentary group .
