Anton Nombride

Anton Nombride (born September 20, 1799 in Waldshut ; † April 9, 1857 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; Catholic) was a lawyer and official in the Baden state service since 1830 , comparable to today's district administrator . He was also a member of the Baden state parliament for six electoral terms .

Anton Nombride was the son of the rent manager Stefan Nombride in Waldshut. He married Maria Anna nee Straubhaar on March 2, 1829. There were four children from this marriage: Sofie (* May 20, 1834), Emil (* February 4, 1837), Hermine (* February 5, 1839) and Anton (* July 29, 1841).

career

After studying law and passing the state examination in Freiburg, where he joined the Corps Suevia Freiburg , Nombride became an official assessor at the Achern district office from August 1, 1830, and from May 1, 1834, a bailiff and second civil servant, after various positions as a legal intern at the Kenzingen district office . He held the same position from November 1, 1836 at the Mannheim City Office and on February 1, 1838, he was promoted to Oberamtmann and at the same time transferred to the Bretten District Office . From November 12, 1840, he was appointed chief magistrate at the Kenzingen district office and then from September 7, 1842, court judge at the Upper Rhine District in Freiburg. On October 6, 1843, he became a public prosecutor there, and on November 30, 1846 he received the title of Privy Councilor . From December 4, 1846 he was chairman of the council of the government of the Seekreis in Konstanz and from May 26, 1848 to the council of the government of the Upper Rhine district in Freiburg. In February 1854, Nombride suffered a stroke during a session of the state parliament and was therefore put into retirement.

Political activity

1843/45, 1845/46, 1847/49, 1850/51, 1851/52, 1852/53 and 1854, Nombride was a member of the Baden Baden state parliament for constituency 16 ( district office Endingen and district office Kenzingen) during the 11th to 16th electoral term .
