Antonella Lualdi
Antonella Lualdi (* 6. July 1931 as de Antonietta Pascale in Beirut , Lebanon ) is an Italian film actress .
Life
The daughter of an Italian and a Greek woman came to her father's homeland during the Second World War and was discovered there when she was just 18 years old for the film. A first high point in her career was the role of Mathilde de la Mole in Claude Autant-Lara's film adaptation of Stendhal's novel Red and Black . In another major film adaptation of a novel, A Woman's Life based on the novel by Guy de Maupassant , she starred as Gilberte de Fourcheville, directed by Alexandre Astruc . By the beginning of the 1970s she took on numerous roles in international film.
She then worked temporarily as an assistant director , including for Ferdinando Baldi . She has been a busy series actress since the 1990s. Lualdi was married to the actor Franco Interlenghi from 1953 . She is the mother of actress Antonella Interlenghi (* 1961).
