Fräbel, who competes for WSV Asbach , mainly took part in U18 and U20 races in the Alpine Cup from 2012 to 2017 . She finished third in the 2015/16 season and second place in the U20 overall standings in the 2016/17 season . At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Val di Fiemme , she achieved 24th place in sprint and 14th place in skiathlon . The following year she won the bronze medal in the mixed relay, the silver medal in the sprint and the gold medal in the 5 km freestyle at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Steg . She made her debut in the World Cup in January 2016 in Nové Město , which she finished in seventh place in the relay. At the Junior World Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she won the bronze medal over 5 km classic. In addition, she came there on the 27th place in the sprint, on the ninth place over 10 km freestyle and on the fourth place with the relay. The following year she won the silver medal in the sprint at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Soldier Hollow , where she was also seventh in the 5 km freestyle and sixth in the relay and in the skiathlon. In the following season she won the overall ranking of the Alpine Cup with five wins and one second place. At the U23 World Championships in Lahti in 2019 , she finished 33rd in the 10 km freestyle and 28th in the sprint. In March 2019, she took her first World Cup points at Holmenkollen in Oslo with 25th place in the 30 km mass start race in the classic technique. In February 2020 she was second in the sprint at the German cross-country skiing championships in Oberstdorf and German champion in the team sprint together with Victoria Carl . At the U23 World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal she came in 16th place in the 15 km mass start race, seventh place with the relay and sixth place in the sprint and over 10 km classic.
