Antonio Arcari
Antonio Arcari (born May 8, 1953 in Pralboino , Province of Brescia , Italy ) is a diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
The Bishop of Brescia , Luigi Morstabilini , ordained him a priest on June 11, 1977 . Pope John Paul II awarded him the honorary title of Chaplain to His Holiness ( Monsignor ) on September 23, 1980 .
On July 18, 2003, Pope John Paul II appointed him Titular Archbishop of Caeciri and Apostolic Nuncio in Honduras . He was ordained bishop by Cardinal Secretary of State Angelo Sodano on September 20th of the same year; Co - consecrators were Archbishop Bruno Foresti , Bishop Emeritus of Brescia, and Giulio Sanguineti , Bishop of Brescia.
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on December 12, 2008 as Apostolic Nuncio in Mozambique . On July 5, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Nuncio in Costa Rica . On May 25, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Nuncio in Monaco .
