Antonio Gavilánes (born September 22, 1976 in Vitoria-Gasteiz ) is a former Spanish ice hockey player who was under contract for most of his career at CH Gasteiz in the Spanish Super League .
Career
Antonio Gavilánes began his career as an ice hockey player in his Basque hometown with CH Gasteiz , for whose first team he made his debut in the Spanish Super League in the 2000/01 season . After a year at CH Txuri Urdin , he returned to the Basque capital in 2011 and was able to win the first Spanish championship title in club history with his home club in 2013 . Then he ended his career.
International
For Spain , Gavilánes took part in the Division II World Championships in 2001 , 2002 , 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 and 2012 , when he was voted the best player of his team, and in the Division I World Cup in 2011 .
