Antonio Giuseppe Caiazzo (born April 7, 1956 in Isola Capo Rizzuto , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Matera-Irsina .

Life

Antonio Giuseppe Caiazzo received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Crotone-Santa Severina on October 10, 1981 .

On February 12, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Matera-Irsina. The bishop of Noto , Antonio Staglianò , ordained him episcopal on April 2nd of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Crotone-Santa Severina, Domenico Graziani , the Old Archbishop of Benevento , Andrea Mugione , the Archbishop of Potenza-Muro Lucano-Marsico Nuovo , Salvatore Ligorio , and the Bishop of Lamezia Terme , Luigi Antonio Cantafora .
