The Roman Catholic Diocese of Noto ( lat. : Dioecesis Netensis ) is on Sicily located diocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Noto . It belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Syracuse in the ecclesiastical region of Sicily and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Syracuse .

history

The diocese of Noto was on May 15, 1844 by Pope Gregory XVI. Erected with the papal bull Gravissimum sane munus .
