The diocese of Acireale ( Latin : Dioecesis Iaciensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Sicily with its seat in Acireale . It belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Catania of the ecclesiastical region of Sicily and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Catania . Acireale is a "partner bishopric" of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese .
