The Aomori Highway ( Japanese 青森 自動 車道 , Aomori jidōshadō ; English Aomori Expressway ) is a highway in Japan . The highway is a bypass of Aomori, the northernmost major city on the island of Honshu. The highway is single lane and 16 kilometers long. The road is a toll road.
Street description
West of Aomori City, the Aomori Highway begins at a junction from Tohoku Highway coming from the south. The motorway heads east and passes Aomori south. The city of Aomori can be reached with the exits of the motorway via parallel streets. East of Aomori, the highway ends at Michinoku Toll Road, which then continues to Tohoku.
