The Apance is a river in France that runs in the Grand Est region . It rises in the municipality of Serqueux , initially drains in a westerly direction, but then turns south to east and, after 34 kilometers, flows into the Saône as a right tributary in the municipality of Châtillon-sur- Saône . On its way, the Apance largely crosses the Haute-Marne department and only reaches the Vosges department in its mouth section .
