The Apostolic Administration of Kyrgyzstan ( Latin : Apostolica Administratio Kyrgyzstanianus ) is an Apostolic Administration of the Roman Catholic Church and has its seat in Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan .
Pope John Paul II founded the Mission sui juris of Kyrgyzstan on December 22, 1997 from which Pope Benedict XVI. the Apostolic Administration of Kyrgyzstan was established. The first administrator was the Jesuit Nikolaus Messmer .
Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía is Apostolic Nuncio in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan .
