history

The Apostolic Vicariate Ingwavuma was on November 12, 1962 by Pope John XXIII. established from the cession of territory by the dioceses Eshowe and Manzini as the Apostolic Prefecture of Ingwavuma .

The Apostolic Prefecture of Ingwavuma was elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate on November 19, 1990 by Pope John Paul II .
