The Apostolic Vicariate of Nepal ( lat. : Apostolicus Vicariatus Nepalianus ) is an in Nepal situated Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate based in Kathmandu .
history
Pope John Paul II founded the Mission sui juris Nepal on October 7, 1983 from cessions of territory from the Diocese of Patna . With the bull Cuncta disponere she was raised to the Apostolic Prefecture on November 8, 1996 .
On February 10, 2007 she was raised to the Apostolic Vicariate with the bull Ad aptius consulendum .
