The Apostolic Vicariate of San Andres y Providencia ( lat. : Apostolicus Vicariatus Sancti Andreae et Providentiae ) is an in Colombia located Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with headquarters in San Andrés . It includes the province of San Andrés and Providencia .

history

On June 20, 1912, Pope Pius X founded the Mission sui juris San Andrés y Providencia from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Cartagena . On November 14, 1946, she was elevated to the Apostolic Prefecture and on December 5, 2000 to the Apostolic Vicariate.
