action
The student nurse Cordula has to be observed in the hospital because of hyperthyroidism and is admitted to the room of the seventeen-year-old cancer patient Aranka. Cordula knows from her training such diseases and the associated history of suffering. At first she wanted to distance herself from Aranka, but a short, intense and difficult friendship developed between them. After three weeks in the hospital, Cordula is discharged without a diagnosis and learns that Aranka died shortly after she was released.
