Anke Sevenich (born January 30, 1959 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actress .

Life

Sevenich grew up in Langen (Hessen) . After graduating from high school, she studied acting at the State University for Music and Theater in Hanover from 1979 to 1983 . In her second year of study she already got a guest role at the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover , where she was accepted into the permanent ensemble after completing her training. From 1983 to 1987 she played in numerous classics at this house. During this time her first engagements in television fell, so in 1986 she played the title character Aranka in the television play of the same name by Gernot Eigler.

She has been working as a freelance actress since 1987. With the role of Schnüsschen in The Second Home - Chronicle of a Youth by Edgar Reitz , she achieved her breakthrough as a film and television actress in 1992. In the following years she played numerous television roles. With 15 appearances in the crime series Tatort , she is the actress with the most leading episode roles. She worked u. a. directed by Heiner Carow , Vadim Glowna , Thorsten Näter , Richard Huber , Niki Stein , Christoph Stark, Johannes Grieser and Peter Schulze-Rohr . In 2008 she played the role of Gertrud in the historical film The Vow by Dominik Graf .

Anke Sevenich lives with her son in her native city of Frankfurt am Main.
