The working group for traffic law of the DAV , self-designated traffic lawyers , is a working group of the German lawyers' association . It was founded in 1979 and is based in Berlin. With more than 6,000 members, it is the second largest working group in the DAV after the working group on family law .
tasks
The working group offers a forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions among lawyers specializing in traffic law . All members of a local bar association who are interested in the aims and content of the traffic lawyers can become members. The attorneys who are members benefit from an extensive range of seminars on traffic law issues and new legal regulations. Club members can also be found using the regional lawyer search on the traffic lawyers' website.
The working group is actively involved in the committees of the German Transport Court in Goslar for the rights of the injured party. In addition, the traffic law committee of the German Lawyers' Association gives its opinion on all important legislative proposals.
structure
The working group is a legally dependent subdivision of the German Lawyers' Association with mainly volunteer employees. The working group is led by a nine-person executive committee, which is elected from among the members. There are also 17 regional representatives.
