Ardagger Stift is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ardagger in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

The village consists of the districts Am Weinberg, Bach, Brachegg, Habersdorf, Hauersdorf, Illersdorf, Kirchfeld, Kollmitz, Paulberg, Pfaffenberg, Schüsselhub and Stocka.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were three local rooms in Ardagger Stift with 183 building areas on a total of 77902 m² and 213 gardens on 618410 m², in 1989/1990 there were already 302 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 647, with 404 buildings in existence and in 2009/2010 there were 402 buildings on 729 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 753 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 227 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 748 hectares and 257 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 712 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 258 hectares. The average soil climate number of Ardagger Stift is 51.7 (as of 2010).
