Ardilleux is a place in the French community Valdelaume and a former municipality last 179 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2015) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ).
The municipality of Ardilleux merged with Bouin , Hanc and Pioussay to form the municipality of Valdelaume on January 1st, 2019 . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Niort and was part of the canton of Melle (until 2015 Chef-Boutonne ).

Ardilleux is about 44 kilometers east-southeast of Niort . Ardilleux was surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chef-Boutonne in the north and northwest, Melleran in the north and northeast, Bouin in the east, Hanc in the east and southeast and Loubigné in the south and west.
