Are You There, Chelsea? (English for "Are you there, Chelsea?" ) is an American sitcom based on Chelsea Handler's book Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea from 2008 based. In the United States, the series ran from January to March 2012 on NBC . On May 11, 2012, the series was canceled. In Germany, the series was shown on ProSieben in March and April 2013 .

The series is about Chelsea Newman, jailed for drunk driving and vowing to change her life completely. But Chelsea doesn't last long with that, instead she gets from one problem to another.

The series is based on Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea , the autobiographical book Chelsea Handlers from 2008. The series was also ordered under this title, later the series was published in Are You There, Chelsea? renamed. Internationally, the series is sold under the name Chelsea Straight Up . The book's author, Chelsea Handler, appears on the series as Sloane Bradley .
