Ariyat Dibow Ubang (born February 23, 1997 ) is an Ethiopian high and triple jumper .
Athletic career
Ariyat Dibow Ubang gained her first international experience at the 2014 African Championships in Marrakech , where she won the bronze medal behind Moroccan Rhizlane Siba and Basant Mosaad Mohamed Hassan from Egypt with a skipped 1.78 m . However, she won the bronze medal with 1.65 m at the African Youth Championships in Warri the year before . In 2015 she finished fifth at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa with 1.70 m and finished fourth at the African Games in Brazzaville with a new national record of 1.80 m. The following year, she reached for the African Championship in Durban with a height of 1.70 m in tenth place and in 2018 she won the African Cup in Asaba with 1.80 m bronze medal in the high jump behind the Swazi again Erika Nonhlanhla Seyama and Hoda Hagras from Egypt. In addition, she was tenth in the long jump with 5.49 m. The following year she improved the Ethiopian record to 1.81 m at the Africa Games in Rabat , winning the bronze medal behind the Ghanaian Rose Yeboah and the Moroccan Siba.
In 2018 and 2019 Dibow Ubang became Ethiopian champion in high and triple jump and in 2019 in high jump.
