Armando Martín Gutiérrez
Armando Martín Gutiérrez FAM (born December 16, 1954 in Madrid ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Bacabal .
Life
Armando Martín Gutiérrez joined the Order of the Sons of Merciful Love (Portuguese: Filhos do Amor Misericordioso ), made his profession on September 8, 1974 and was ordained a priest on October 6, 1979 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 2, 2006 Bishop of Bacabal. The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and President of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America , Giovanni Battista Re , donated him episcopal ordination on January 5th of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Luigi Conti , Archbishop of Fermo , and Giovanni Scanavino OESA , Bishop of Orvieto-Todi . As a motto he chose Misericordia EU QUERO. The inauguration in the diocese of Bacabal took place on February 11, 2007.
