The Armenian Football Cup 2016/17 was the 26th edition of the cup competition in Armenia .

The six teams from the Bardsragujn chumb 2016/17 , as well as SC Erebuni Yerevan and FC Kotajk Abowjan from the Arajin chumb 2016/17 were qualified . While Erebuni did not appear in the first two matches, Kotajk only appeared in the first leg. The FC Shirak won the cup for the second time. In the final, FC Pyunik Yerevan was defeated 3-0.

The cup was played in three rounds. Up to the semi-finals, the winners were determined in the first and second leg. In Torgleichstand initially decided the number of away goals , after an extension has been reached no decision on this after two periods of 15 minutes followed by a penalty shoot-out , was determined to be the winner. The final was played in one game in Yerevan.
