Arnim Töpel
Arnim Töpel (born August 23, 1959 in Heidelberg ) is a German cabaret artist and musician .
life and work
The trained lawyer , former television presenter ( Saarländischer Rundfunk / Südwestfunk ) and radio talker (Südwestfunk / Südwestrundfunk ) has received several awards for “musical class and linguistic elegance”, including: a. with the German Cabaret Award (sponsorship award).
Töpel grew up in Walldorf . In addition to studying law, Arnim Töpel first went on stage with the children's and youth theater “Primel”, which he founded himself, and later went solo under the name “Töpel ohne”. Two vinyl singles were also released under this name, including the Kurpfalz hit “Hallole, isch bins, de Günda!”.
With his cabaret programs "Sex is not a solution.", "Go in time", "Newa de Kapp", "Make de Babbe net struwwelisch!" And "De Schorle-Peda" he is constantly on tour throughout the German-speaking area and has earned a reputation as a “blues thinker” and “philosopher among cabaret artists”. In March 2009 the CD Arnim Töpels Kurpfälzer Klub “Fa umme - Mundart Grooves” was released with songs from his two dialect programs. The CD was nominated for the German Record Critics' Prize in the songs and songs category and was hailed as "Summer Record of the Year" in the press. On January 13th, 2010 Töpel presented his new solo program MASTERBABBLER in the “Dalbergsaal” in Mannheim . On December 15, 2011, he performed on the Blatter stage at the 20th Arosa Humor Festival . Since 2011 he has moderated the Lahnsteiner Blues Festival , since 2013 he has published a thriller written in the Electoral Palatinate dialect once a year .
