Arno Koester
Arno Köster (* 1964 in Mannheim ) is a German journalist , author and presenter . Since 2009 Köster has been working for the Udo Lindenberg Foundation as a member of the board of trustees and project manager.
Life
Arno Köster grew up in Mannheim. After graduating from high school, Köster studied Politics, Middle and New History and Philosophy in Heidelberg from 1988 to 1991 .
From 1993 Köster built up the radio station Energy Sachsen . In 1996 he founded the company "East Tools Media" in Leipzig, with which he looks after Udo Lindenberg , among others . He is considered a long-time friend and colleague of Lindenberg. Since 2009 he has also been responsible for public relations and fundraising for the Udo Lindenberg Foundation and organizes its panic prize competitions.
Prior to that, Köster worked for various public and private radio stations in Germany, such as DT64 , Energy Sachsen, MDR Sputnik and SWR1 .
He is the owner and managing director of the media company Easttoolsmedia in Leipzig .
Köster is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hück Learning Foundation .
He was portrayed by Lene Hoffmann and Volly Tanner with his Water is right foundation and the Udo-Lindenberg-Stiftung in the book City Talks from Leipzig published by Gmeiner Verlag in 2014 .
Private
Arno Köster is at home in Leipzig . He is the father of a son and a daughter who are both adults.
