Artie Lange

Artie Lange (born Arthur Steven Lange Jr. , born October 11, 1967 in Union Township , New Jersey ) is an American actor , stand-up comedian , and screenwriter .

Live and act

Lange attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting for several months in 1987 . After his father's fatal accident, he gave up his plans to study at college and took on a number of jobs, including as a taxi driver. He then appeared as a comedian in New York City , including as a member of the group Live On Tape , which he co-founded. From 1995 to 1997 he appeared in the television series Mad TV , for which he also wrote some scripts.

In the comedy Dirty Work (1998), Lange took on one of the leading roles alongside Norm MacDonald . In the thriller The 4th Floor - House of Fear (1999) he played on the side of Juliette Lewis and William Hurt ; He also took on a larger role in the action thriller Puppet and in the comedy The Bachelor from the same year. In the sports comedy Beer League (2006) he took on the lead role again, he also co-wrote the script.

He became famous across the United States as a sidekick on the Howard Stern show.

In January 2010, Lange attempted suicide but survived.
