InBev-Baillet Latour Health Prize
The InBev-Baillet Latour Health Prize is a medical prize awarded by the InBev Baillet-Latour Foundation (formerly the Artois Baillet-Latour Foundation or Interbrew Baillet-Latour Foundation).
It was called the Artois-Baillet Latour Health Prize until 1995 and then the Interbrew-Baillet Latour Health Prize until 2004. It was awarded every two years until 1999 and annually thereafter and is endowed with 250,000 euros. Since 2006 it has been awarded for research on neural diseases, infectious diseases, cancer, cardiovascular diseases and metabolic diseases.
It was donated in 1977 by Alfred de Baillet Latour , the owner of the Stella Artois brewery (today part of Anheuser-Busch InBev ), after he had previously founded the Artois-Baillet Latour Foundation in 1974.
