Aschenstedt is a district of the municipality of Dötlingen in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg in the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park .
The village, three kilometers east of the center of Dötlingen, has 692 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2013). After the Delmenhorst – Hesepe railway was built in 1898, the Dötlinger train station was located in Aschenstedt. The stop was closed in 1981.
The great stone grave is located in Aschenstedt .
The Hunte flows west three kilometers away.
