Ashlee Bond (born April 15, 1985 in Hidden Hills , California ) is a show jumper . She ran for the United States until mid-April 2018, and has since started for Israel .

Ashlee Bond is the daughter of film producer Cindy Bond. Her father Steve Bond, born in Haifa as Shlomo Goldberg, is an actor . He is also his daughter's trainer. She has a younger brother. Ashlee Bond himself became the mother of a daughter in 2016.

Bond lives in Wellington, Florida .

She plays the role of Amanda in the film American Roadtrip . In 2007 she was active as a speaker in the animated film The Ten Commandments . Her mother was the producer of both films.

In 2010 she was seen together with the show jumper Richard Spooner in the television series A Rider's Story .

Equestrian sport

As the daughter of horse-loving parents, she sat on a horse for the first time at the age of six months. She started riding at the age of six. In 2008 she rode her first international tournament in Spruce Meadows . In 2009 she won the European Prize with Cadett at the CHIO Aachen . In 2011 she started with Cadett at the World Cup finals in Leipzig .

Also with Cadett , she won a World Cup competition in Calgary-Spruce Meadows in the summer of 2012. At the end of the 2012/2013 World Cup season, Ashlee Bond took part in the World Cup finals in Gothenburg with Wistful . With Chela , she was again part of two US Nations Cup teams in the summer of 2014 (3rd place in Falsterbo and 1st place in Gijon ). At the end of 2014 she won the Liège Grand Prix (CSI 3 *) with Chela ahead of John Whitaker .

After spending almost all of 2014 in Europe, she returned to North America. In 2016 she paused for a year, with the victory in the world cup jumping of Thermal returned in February 2017 to the international sport. Her mare Chela , with whom she had achieved this success, was out for 12 months from summer 2017 and due to an injury.

On April 15, 2018, she received the citizenship of her father's country of birth, and has been participating in sports for Israel ever since. At the 2018 World Equestrian Games , Bond was part of the newly formed Israeli team, which will be competing for the first time in a championship ( 13th place with the team with Chela and 113th place in the individual). As part of the Winter Equestrian Festival , Ashlee Bond won a CSI 5 * Grand Prize with Donatello in March 2020 .
