The decrepit, egg-shaped, multi-veined, shiny phyllocladia are 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.
The two to three flowers arise behind the base of the phyllocladia. The 1 centimeter long flower stalk is divided near the flower base. The bent back tepals are about 0.6 inches long. The spherical fruits have a diameter of 1 centimeter.
