Kate and Chloe have been best friends since childhood. They got to know each other at a beauty pageant , in which they finished in last place. Even as adults, both are unsuccessful, Chloe works as a dancer in a nightclub and Kate earns her living as an egg donor. When the two received an invitation to the fiftieth anniversary of their beauty contest, they decided to take part again. Above all, they want to get back at their former competitor Laurel, who is part of the competition's jury this time .

During their journey, the two encounter many obstacles. Because they are broke, they visit Chloe's father Bruce to borrow money from him. Once there, they learn that it is also bankrupt . After a car breaks down, the two find accommodation with a women's rights group, with whose members they fall out. After an unsuccessful appearance in a strip club, where both were hoping to earn extra money, they end up in prison. There they meet their favorite reality star Brian. After her release, Brian invites her to his house. The three drug users and Kate and Chloe fall in drug intoxication in dispute and put the rest of their journey continued separately.
