Athena Massey
Athena Marie Massey (born November 10, 1967 in Orange , California ) is an American actress .
Life
Massey made her first major film appearance in Undercover Heat in 1995 . In the same year she played Liana in Grid Runners alongside Don Wilson . This physically demanding role earned a lot of attention and respect for Martial Arts and Krav Maga trained Massey, who performed all of her stunts by herself. In the following film, Cyber Tracker 2 - The Return , she showed off her kickboxing skills.
This was followed by other appearances in films, such as in Red Shoe Diaries 9: Slow Train (1996), Star Portal (1997), Poison Ivy - The New Seduction (1997), The Unspeakable (1997), Termination Man (1998), Vital Parts (2001) and Black Scorpion Returns (2001) in which, as well as in the series Black Scorpion , which Dr. Gail Waters (Hurricane) played.
Other television series in which she appeared include Shadow of Passion (1992), Doogie Howser, MD (1992), Seinfeld (1995), Murder One (1996), Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager (1996) and Nash Bridges (1999-2000 ).
Massey played the Kodiak pilot Brink in the computer game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun in 1999 and played Lieutenant Eva Lee in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (2000) and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 - Yuri's Revenge (2001). She also produced a comic with Brooks Wachtel called Athena: Warrior Eternal - a story about a war goddess who travels to the present day and takes over the body of a mortal woman to prevent the war god Ares from destroying the earth.
She has two children with her ex-husband, Tony Azzi.
