Attila Miklósházy

Attila Miklósházy SJ (born April 5, 1931 in Diósgyőr , Hungary ; † December 28, 2018 in Pickering ) was a Hungarian religious , Roman Catholic bishop and commissioner for the pastoral care of Hungary.

Life

Attila Miklósházy entered the Congregation of the Jesuits and received on 18 June 1961, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 12, 1989 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Castellum minus and ordered him to the Commissioner for the Hungarian ministry. The Archbishop of Toronto , Gerald Emmett Cardinal Carter , donated him episcopal ordination on November 4th of that year ; Co-consecrators were the Coadjutor Archbishop of Toronto, Aloysius Ambrozic , and the Secretary of the Congregation for the Sacraments , Curial Archbishop Lajos Kada .

In 2006 Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
