At your own risk is a 1974 American film with George Peppard in the lead role.

action

Vince Newman is a tough but correct drug investigator in Los Angeles . After two years of unsuccessful investigations against drug lord Lo Falcone, he and his partner Garry find a large quantity of drugs and the body of the nephew of Falcones rival Dellanzia in one of the Falcones houses. Before the prosecutor can bring charges, however, Newman is discredited by Falcone; he is losing both his reputation and his job. There is therefore no trial because Newman's statement is no longer worth anything.

Since Newman has not only lost his job, but also his related pension entitlements, he brings Falcone and his henchmen down using vigilante justice.

criticism

“An impulsive police detective exposes a long-sought drug dealer after he himself has been suspected of a crime on false evidence. Attractively designed crime film, which, however, strongly propagates violence as the only means of problem solving. "

"There is hardly an episode in this film that you have not seen before (...) It is disheartening to see George Peppard as Quasi- Serpico (...) Here he hardly tries to act."
