August Maager

August Maager (born March 1, 1845 in old town near Kolberg , † July 18, 1909 in Denkwitz near Glogau ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Maager attended secondary school and later high school in Kolberg . He then studied law in Berlin and Heidelberg and later devoted himself to agriculture. During his studies he became a member of the Germania Berlin fraternity in 1864 and of the Frankonia Heidelberg fraternity in 1866 . From 1872 he was the owner of the manor Denkwitz near Klopschen, southwest of Glogau in Silesia. He was also a member of the district council and district committee and represented the constituency of Glogau- Lüben from 1879–1882 and 1885–1888 in the Prussian House of Representatives .

From 1881 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Liegnitz 3 ( Glogau ) first for the Liberal Association , then for the German Liberal Party and finally for the Liberal Association .
