August von Gadow

Joachim Ludwig August von Gadow (born June 20, 1802 in Hugoldsdorf , † July 15, 1860 in Goslar ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

He came from the Brandenburg noble family von Gadow , was the owner of the Drechow manor in the Franzburg district , grand ducal Mecklenburg-Schwerin Chamberlain and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John . He was involved as a district deputy and was elected from 1845 to 1856 by the knighthood of the Franzburg district in the provincial parliament of the province of Pomerania (9th to 13th provincial parliament ), whereby he also belonged to the First United Parliament in 1847 . From 1852 to 1854 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Stralsund constituency . In 1854 Gadow became a member of the newly formed Prussian mansion on presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Neuvorpommern and Rügen district .
