August von Gise

August Friedrich Ludwig Max Maria Freiherr von Gise (born October 5, 1850 in Dresden , † July 14, 1913 in Munich ) was the chief steward , member of the German Reichstag and member of the Chamber of Deputies of the State Parliament of the Kingdom of Bavaria .

Life

Gise was the son of the Bavarian ambassador to the Saxon courts in Dresden Maximilian von Gise and lived in Teublitz , where the family's castle stood. He attended private lessons, high school, university, and technical college, and traveled extensively.

From 1881 to 1888 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies, first for the Bavarian Patriot Party and then for the center for the constituency of Amberg. At the same time he was also from 1881 to 1888 a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Upper Palatinate 2 ( Amberg , Nabburg , Sulzbach , Eschenbach ) and the German Center Party . He resigned both mandates when he was appointed chief court master and functioning court marshal HRH of Princess Adalbert of Bavaria .
