Augustine Francis Wildermuth SJ (born February 20, 1904 in St. Louis , Missouri , USA ; † June 12, 1993 ) was Bishop of Patna .
Life
Augustine Francis Wildermuth joined the Congregation of the Jesuits in and received on 25 July 1935, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 12, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Patna. The Archbishop of Chicago , Cardinal Samuel Stritch , ordained him episcopal on October 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Cleveland , Edward Francis Hoban , and the Coadjutor Bishop of Wheeling , Thomas John McDonnell .
On March 6, 1980, Pope John Paul II accepted Augustine Francis Wildermuth's resignation due to reasons of age.
