Aurora AFX Formula 1 Series 1980

The 1980 Aurora AFX Formula 1 Series , also known as the 1980 British Formula 1 Championship , was a monoposto racing series that was run under the Formula 1 regulations .

The third season of the Aurora AFX Formula 1 series comprised twelve races, all but one of which took place in Great Britain. That exception was the Monza Lottery Grand Prix in Monza . The championship was won by the Spaniard Emilio de Villota .
