The Aussoue is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises on the edge of the plateau of Lannemezan , in the municipality of Lilhac , generally drains in a northeastern direction through a sparsely populated area and flows into the Save after 34 kilometers just southwest of Labastide-Savès , on the border with the neighboring municipality of Samatan , as a right tributary . On its way, the Aussoue crosses the Haute-Garonne and Gers departments .
