Austin Wycisk (born October 8, 1980 in Windsor , Ontario ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Kassel Huskies in the DEL2 .

Career

Wycisk began his career in the 2002/03 season at St. Clair College in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and took part in the game operations of the Canadian Interuniversity Sports during his subsequent studies in mechanical engineering for Lakehead University .

In 2005 the attacker moved to Germany , where he signed a contract with REV Bremerhaven from the 2nd Bundesliga . After he had just missed promotion to the German ice hockey league with Bremen after a final defeat against the Straubing Tigers , the Canadian switched to the promoted EV Landsberg . With the Upper Bavaria Wycisk was able to celebrate relegation in the 2006/07 season, but the following year the club rose to the top division .

Austin Wycisk then moved to EHC Munich for the 2008/09 season .

On July 13, 2010 it was announced that Wycisk was moving to the German Ice Hockey League and joining the 2010 German runner-up, Augsburger Panther . For the time being, he received a contract until October 30, 2010, with the option of an extension until the end of the season. In June 2011, Wycisk was signed by the ice pirates Crimmitschau and initially provided with a contract for one season. After the 2012/13 season, he did not receive a contract extension due to financial restrictions on the part of the club.

After a short interlude with the Bayern league club EC Pfaffenhofen, Wycisk received a contract with the Kassel Huskies in November 2013 . In the 2015/16 season he won the DEL2 championship title with Kassel .

• Runner-up in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga in 2005 and 2009
• Master of the DEL2 2016
