The Turkish Autonomous Administration in Cyprus or Turkish Autonomous Administration in Cyprus was a Turkish Cypriot administration that existed until the establishment of the Turkish Federal State of Cyprus from October 1, 1974 to February 13, 1975. It was an internationally not recognized administration. The administrative seat was North Nicosia , the northern part of the divided former capital Nicosia .
After the invasion of the Turkish armed forces on July 20, 1974, the Turkish Autonomous Administration was founded in Cyprus as the successor to the Turkish administration of Cyprus . As in the administration, there was a separate parliament and a separate judicial system. The head was Rauf Denktaş .
On February 13, 1975, the administration's parliament approved the establishment of a federal state, the Turkish Federal State of Cyprus . The administration was thus dissolved.
