The Auzon (in the upper reaches: Auzonnet ) is a river in France that runs in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Cevennes , near the hamlet of Florac , in the municipality of Portes , initially drains in a southeastern direction and reaches the hamlet of the same name Auzon in the municipality of Allègre-les-Fumades , where it changes its name to Auzon and its direction of flow to northeast. After a total of 31 kilometers, the river finally flows into the Cèze as a right tributary in the municipality of Rivières .
