The Avenida Dom Martinho Lopes is a main street of the East Timorese capital Dili in the administrative office of Nain Feto . It has a length of about 1.1 kilometers.
Surname
Dom Martinho da Costa Lopes was the Apostolic Administrator of Dili from 1977 to 1983 . Until 2015 the street was named Estrada de Lecidere , after the Lecidere district in which direction it leads. Before that, the first part was named Estrada de Bidau (after the Bidau district ) and from today's Rua 30 de Agosto the name Rua da Circunvalação ( German ring road ).

The Avenida Dom Martinho Lopes leads south from the Bay of Dili . It begins in Suco Bidau Lecidere on Avenida Marginal and runs along the western bank of Mota Bidau , as the eastern border of the Nain Feto administrative office. The administration office of Cristo Rei begins on the east bank with the sucos Bidau Santana and Culu Hun . After Rua 30 de Agosto the Suco Acadiru Hun begins . The Seggol market is located here on the banks of the Mota Bidau. Behind the intersection with Avenida 20 de Maio , on the other bank of the Mota Bidau, lies the Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares , named after the freedom fighter and politician Guido Valadares (1934–1976). Rua Dom José Ribeiro continues at the intersection with Avenida Liberdade de Imprensa (northwest) and Avenida de Becora (southeast) .
