The Avia-Fokker F.IX was a three-engine bomb and transport aircraft that was designed for the air force of Czechoslovakia .
history
The Avia-Fokker F. IX was from the Fokker F. IX developed. Between 1932 and 1934 Avia built twelve aircraft of this type that could be used as bombers or transport aircraft. The aircraft has three radial engines of the type Walter Jupiter VI driven, each with 450 hp (331 kW). The normal crew consisted of five men.
variants
In 1935 two civil passenger aircraft were manufactured as Avia-Fokker F.IX D and sold to the ČSA airline . Three Walter Pegas engines with 550 hp (405 kW) each served as drive .
In 1936 two bomber planes, which were named Avia F.39 as export versions , were delivered to Yugoslavia. One of these aircraft was still operational in 1941 and was used by the Croatian Air Force.
